Our returning client requested a backyard renovation to create a special jewel box pool garden with fountain and fire pit gathering space. The shifting soil conditions presented a challenge, requiring engineering and installation of 19 concrete piers to support the pool and fountain wall. The fountain wall was constructed from hand-made tile with custom brass scuppers, and we connected the pool to the home using Pennsylvania bluestone paving. Hollies, magnolia, Eastern red cedar, roses, hydrangea, and leopard plant frame the space, surrounding the pool in lush foliage. A complementary fire pit creates a central focal point for cozy conversation.
