Position Overview
- Position involves the supervision and installation of complete landscape projects
- You must be able to operate Skidsteers, mini excavators and other typical landscape equipment
- A valid driver license with a good driving record and the ability to drive dump trucks with trailers are also required.
- Expertise and/or experience in the following areas are not required for the position but they are definitely a plus:
– Water Feature Installation
– CDL Driver License
– Hardscape Installation
– Landscape Maintenance - Work under the Superintendent to oversee the production of a multiple task environment
- Coordinate, implement, and supervise all phases of installation on assigned projects
- Instruct, evaluate, and train employees to perform landscape construction installation and adhere to company policies and safety practices
- Communicate project needs with clients, subcontractors, and employees regarding scheduling, ordering, changes, site conditions, etc. throughout the duration of the project
- Develop & maintain good working relations with other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the entire project.
- Attend daily departmental meetings
- Maintain efficiency and Bonick quality for every project
- Lead by example, encourage teamwork, and promote the Bonick philosophy
- Must have 4 years of practical landscape installation experience in the field
- Ability to coordinate crew paperwork and time sheets daily
- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of landscape installation methods and techniques
- Excellent working knowledge of the equipment, tools and labor needed to accomplish work
- In-depth horticulture knowledge
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Must be able to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications
- Completed coursework for successful acquisition of TCLP
- Hold a valid Driver’s License and willing to obtain a CDL
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, prefer bi-lingual skills
