The landscape design process at Bonick Landscaping of Dallas
Your yard is an extension of your home. So it only makes sense that the garden design process is a collaboration between you and our landscape design-build team. Initially, we want to get to know you and get a feel for the site and the scope of the project. To do that, we walk your property, listen and ask questions. We take into consideration the intent of the architecture of your home, how you perceive it, your personal vision and style. The possibilities for your design are endless. Do you want to improve your home’s curb appeal? Entertain outdoors? Extend your living space with a deck or patio? Create privacy? Install a pool or other outdoor water feature? We collaborate with you to design and build your dream, whether it’s a swimming pool, a garden with a fountain or koi pond, an outdoor kitchen or all of the above!
Preliminary Landscape Design
Next, we study the existing site conditions to determine the assets, demands and limitations of your property. From there we prepare the hardscape and landscape designs and present drawings delineating the concepts. This is a professionally rendered and to scale plan that provides “the big picture” or an overview of your landscape design project.
Budget Process and Final Landscape Design
Upon your approval of the preliminary design direction, a projected budget is created based. Once this budget is approved, the final design process begins. During the final design phase, actual materials are selected and construction details are determined. This is a collaborative process where we work closely with you, especially on materials selection as these choices solidify the budget for the project. Once you’ve approved your hardscape or landscaping design and an initial deposit is received, work can begin.
